This year organizers estimated that more than 3,000 guests attended Thessaloniki’s annual ethnic Food-for-Good Festival at 20.00 on Sunday, June 07, 2026, at Plaz Aretsou, Kalamaria. Friends of Canada and The Consulate of Canada in Thessaloniki hosted a Canadian table run by volunteer Dora Petmezas, who coordinated several dedicated FoC volunteers. Thirty countries participated in the event hosted by the Women from Five Continents and the Children’s Village Filiro. All proceeds from the event went to the Children’s Village (http://www.paidikoxorio.gr/web/ ). The Consulate of Canada in Thessaloniki was also amongst the Festival’s sponsors.
