Once again, more than 2,000 visitors attended Thessaloniki’s annual ethnic Food-for-Good Festival at 19.00 on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Plaz Aretsou, Kalamaria. As always, Friends of Canada hosted a Canadian table run by volunteer Dora Petmezas, who coordinated several dedicated FoC volunteers. Thirty-one countries participated in the event hosted by the Women from Five Continents and the Children’s Village Filiro. All proceeds from the event – 13,300 euro – went to the Children’s Village (http://www.paidikoxorio.gr/web/ ). The Consulate of Canada in Thessaloniki was amongst the Festival’s sponsors.
