More than 2,000 visitors attended Thessaloniki’s annual ethnic Food-for-Good Festival at 19.00 on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Plaz Aretsou, Kalamaria. Friends of Canada once again hosted a Canadian table run by volunteer Dora Petmezas, who coordinated several dedicated FoC volunteers. Twenty-three countries participated in the event hosted by the Women from Five Continents and the Children’s Village Filiro. All proceeds from the event – 18,410 euro – went to the Children’s Village. The Consulate of Canada in Thessaloniki was once again amongst the Festival’s sponsors.
