Friends of Canada and the Consulate of Canada in Thessaloniki co-hosted a Vasilopita Cutting at 18.00 on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Le Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki. An open information session entitled ‘Travelling abroad? Travel smart, travel safe!’ was scheduled to be presented by the consular staff of the Canadian embassy for the Canadian citizens who reside in Thessaloniki and the rest of Northern Greece, however bad weather conditions prevented their airplane from landing.
Never fear! Friends of Canada stepped up with its famous Athens FoC ‘New Year’s Resolution Game’, complete with several donated prizes for the winners.
