Friends of Canada hosted a Canadian table at Thessaloniki’s annual, ethnic, Food-for-Good Festival at 20.30 on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Plaz Aretsou, Kalamaria, Thessaloniki. Volunteers Janet Koniordos and Pam Karatzas coordinated the FoC stand by organising the cooking and stand service by several dedicated FoC volunteers. Several Embassy of Canada in the Hellenic Republic staff members joined us at our stand, as well.
Approximately forty countries participated in the event run by the Women from Five Continents and the Children’s Village Filiro. All proceeds from the event went to the Children’s Village.
