Friends of Canada, in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy in the Hellenic Republic and Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, co-hosted a CEGEP/FoC Encounter on Monday, June 5, 2017, at La Piazza pizzeria, Chalandri, Athens. A Canadian CEGEP study tour group (twenty-two pre-university students accompanied by three professors) met up with six FoC Canadian volunteers to gain insights about various aspects of living in Greece. FoC volunteer Fran Kaltsiki was the moderator.
