Cost: Order a *pizza (it can be shared!) or from menu

Style: Casual first-come-first-seated/served

Our Welfare Network will be collecting donations of personal hygiene items: toothpaste, toothbrushes (adult & children), body wash, hair conditioner (but not shampoo), women’s sanitary napkins (but not tampons)

UPDATE: It was a relaxed, comfortable evening, as Friends of Canada (FoC) met on April 19 at La Piazza pizzeria. FoC coordinator, Kathryn Lukey-Coutsocostas, welcomed all the guests, followed by a greeting from Canadian Ambassador to Greece, Keith Morrill – who also drew the names of the door prize winners. We welcomed the new FoC Welfare Network co-facilitator, Ray Lamont, who sincerely thanked the attendants for bringing personal hygiene products for Greek families in need; the donations will be distributed by the Salvation Army.  The facilitator of FoC’s Reseau Franco-Canadien/Franco-Canadian Network, Marie-Therese Rolland, once again brought in a strong showing of guests. The event was attended by both Ambassador and Jane Morrill, as well as by the entire family of Julie Papanicolaou, the Canadian embassy’s Foreign Policy & Diplomacy Service Program Assistant.
