UPDATE: The Food-for-Good Festival is coming up on Sunday, June 1, 8pm, Plaz Aretsiou, Kalamaria. Janet is once again organising a Canadian table; many of our (small) fold have left Greece, and your help with cooking food and bringing it to the table for sale would be much appreciated. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by Friday May 30 if you can bring a large batch (the more the merrier) of CANADIAN MEATBALLS (any recipe you like, e.g. meatballs with or without sauce - bbq/tomato/sweet & sour/etc) and a big CANADIAN SALAD (any recipe you like) - around 8pm. You don’t have to pay to bring in cooked food, but ten euros gets you a ticket for 4 portions and 2 drinks. Proceeds go to charity.
We were also pleased that Dora Petmezas, spouse of Honorary Consul of Canada, joined us for the evening.
